If you're ever stuck for something to read online, be sure to check out anti-Catholic The Anonymous One's ("TAO"'s) running cynical commentary on my humorous posts about anti-Catholics. You might marvel, as I do, over his continual double standards in ethics, and inability to distinguish mere (often satirical or otherwise humorous) response to personal attacks from the personal insults themselves. His job is to always defend his anti-Catholic cronies, no matter how unethically or sinfully they may act. No Catholic is ever entitled to make a response to any such personal attack or to comment on manifest anti-Catholic silliness, where it occurs.
It's entitled "From the Mud Factory" and is classified under "Ignorance," "Insults," and "Mud." Yet TAO (I was so shocked to discover that I almost fainted) is not averse to lobbing several personal insults or at the very least, rather pointed disagreements of his own; for example:
May God open the eyes of the blind,Now we can have the additional fun of seeing what he writes about this post. :-)
. . . his ignorance of Reformed theology or the valid objections to Romanist soteriology . . .
Dave's comments lack any substance . . .
More ignorance, mud, and insults from Dave against the present author . . .
Nothing of substance is in Dave's post, . . .
. . . his sophistical distinction between Protestants in general and "Anti-Catholics" (which, as we have explored, is about as silly as suggesting that the pope is "Anti-Semitic" because he prays for the conversion of the Jews in his "Good Friday" prayer) . . .
. . . Armstrong's vapid criticism . . .
He claims that the article misrepresents his book, but he even has to admit that the alleged misrepresentations may not be deliberate! (So much for "Lies") . . .
Dave provides an apologetic for his use of the distracting term "anti-Catholic" to describe his more outspoken critics . . .
Yep, like clockwork TAO has provided us with more of the same old same old:
(35) UPDATE: August 5, 2008 - Dave again responds to this post, and continues to mock and throw insults (link). Dave employs one of his favorite weapons: accusing his opponents of acting like him (i.e. especially of having double standards).
