This was from a successful set of autumn photographs taken in 1982 (the first time I had a good camera to use), right in metro Detroit. It was at the peak of the season, and the sun and blue sky were right. I probably used a macro lens. I love how you can almost sense the leaves blowing in the breeze, and smell the air. Contrast always makes for a good photo. You can't lose with bright red and deep blue, and the lovely late afternoon sunlight to top it off.
